The place is smaller then what it seems on the pictures. Though the place is really cozy, there is maintanence that could be done to the place. Jacuzzi/ Pool area needs professional cleaning. We had a horrible allergic reaction to the amount of chlorine in the jacuzzi. We have a pool at home and it’s fine compared to the chlorine levels there. As to the location, if you prefer to stay at the outskirts this is a perfect pick. There is a dog running around all day and nobody picks up the dog waste. All around the walk-ways beware of dog waste laying around. Overall the host is very responsive and he even hooked us up with a travel company that took us to our locations with having peace of mind we could make it back safe to our place. Hector shout out on recommending us Alex he is great!

El lugar es muy lindo si quieres ir a pasar un fin de semana tranquilo. La alberca y el jacuzzi muy cómodos. Cerca tienes varias vinícolas, incluso pudimos ir caminando a nuestra cena en Fuego. La habitación es cómoda, con linda vista. Solo en las fotos vimos que había un sauna y fogatero pero no los encontramos. Definitivamente volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí 🙂

Buena zona, estaba limpio el cuarto, le quedan varios lugares cerca para salir por comida, es fácil de localizar, está muy tranquilo y todo, pero le falta mantenimiento a la zona de afuera, la alberca estaba sucia y algunos detalles en mal estado, el anfitrión tarda en responder y nadie te recibe, son los únicos detalles que no me agradaron, y me hacen dudar en volver, pero fuera de ahí es una zona tranquila para ir con amigos.

We had a great stay with Baja Stays! The A/C in the unit worked really well, which made a big difference with the high heat in Valle de Guadalupe. The pool was refreshing and enjoyable there were quite a few bugs in it, but that’s understandable given the natural surroundings. The jacuzzi was amazing, with great heat and strong jets, and it felt very private. We really loved the peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by birds and plants it’s the perfect place to disconnect from the city. All the restaurants are within about 20 minutes or less, depending on where you go, and everything feels very local. There’s a small town nearby where you can stop at the market to grab essentials. The unit also has a good-sized refrigerator, which was perfect for storing drinks and snacks. One small suggestion would be to add a microwave, as it would be convenient for reheating food and enjoying snacks poolside during the day. Overall a wonderful experience we would definitely recommend staying here!

We loved this place. Comfortable bed and clean linens and bathroom. Pool and jacuzzi are is very nice. It’s peaceful and beautiful. Our biggest issue was finding the place. Directions need to be a little bit clearer. Other than that it was enjoyable and we would like to go back sometime

The only down side was directions to find. We questioned the last part of the instructions of dirt road . Otherwise had quick response and easy check in. Pool was nice

Booked this Airbnb for the jacuzzi and the view but it was never turned on. When I messaged them they said it was only on from 9-9, this is not specified in the house rules. I woke up at 9-11am and the jacuzzi was never turned on to get in. So dissatisfied with this stay.

Se ve mucho mejor en fotos, necesita algo de mantenimiento y tiene accesorios limitados que complementan tu estancia, ejemplo, no había café para la cafetera, no había destapador de botellas de tinto, el baño le falta lugar para poner tus cosas, solo había un rollo de papel de baño y estaba a la mitad... son pequeños detalles que mejoran tu experiencia.

en la madrugada nos tocaron la puerta con mucha insistencia. reportaron que nuestra mascota hizo adentro del cuarto cuando no fue así hizo afuera y lo que encontraron fue la recolección en una bolsa de plastico de basura a la cual le tomaron foto como según evidencia de daño

It was a great stay… but needs to better maintained. There was a lot of ants around the pool needs to fumigated or something. Also our AC broke down the first night but they were able to fix it during the following day. But it was great overall

Beautiful location in the heart of Valle De Guadalupe. However, as a Super Host myself, I was a bit surprised it took 3 messages before the Host / Co-Hosts responded including one question that was asked immediately after my booking that went unanswered. Additionally, the property is in need of maintenance and general upkeep. Some walkways are falling apart and dangerous, and facades look run down. Overall a great place depending on the price per night.

La realidad es que estaba sucio, descuidado, le falta mucho mantenimiento, no servía la llave de la regadera, las ventanas estaban súper sucias y manchadas, solo prendía un spot de los 4 que había. El jacuzzi estaba sucio, le falta mantenimiento a toda el área exterior, falta alumbrado exterior, no hay control de acceso en la puerta principal, sinceramente las imágenes dan una perspectiva pero deja mucho que desear el lugar.

Great gem! Personally, I go to Valle to relax and be disconnected from the city noise. Many locations are close by major parties late night restaurants that could disrupt the surroundings, this spot is great because it’s right mid-way. Relative close to the best restaurants, Fuego right next door but peaceful during day at night. Had a great time at the jacuzzi and pool area and the atmosphere was just great.

El lugar si corresponde a las fotos, pero nunca miramos a ningún encargado, la televisión es muy pequeña, el aire acondicionado no calentaba asi que pasamos una noche terrible que no pudimos dormir, la habitación es muy pequeña y el agua caliente se termina. La zona de alberca y jacuzzi esta muy descuidado ademas de que sauna estaba tapado con una lona. El lugar no nos dio la sensación de ser seguro ya que cualquiera puede entrar y salir a cualquier hora sin ningún guardia de seguridad y sin iluminación suficiente ni para caminar, tuvimos que iluminar con nuestros celulares.

This was perfect for a weekend getaway from the city! Has beautiful views!! The Pool/Jacuzzi were so nice to enjoy the sunset and to star gaze. Definitely will be back! No issues with the showers, a/c or the pool & jacuzzi that others had mentioned.

This place is in a lovely setting and close walking distance to a couple of great restaurants and wine bars. The hillside retreat is unique and the hot tub was warm and delightful to sit in late at night. We slept great as the bed was very comfy and the complex was very quiet, thank you! The downside to this place is that it was nice and modern at one time, but the room was pretty best up with scratched furniture, rough fixtures, peeling paint and missing switch covers. The entire property was just a little run down with wood slats in the walkway broken enough that you had to watch your step.. Nice place, but don’t look too closely or you’ll be disappointed.

El lugar está bien, solo que el único inconveniente es que el jacuzzi no está lo suficientemente caliente como para permanecer en el, y eso hizo que la experiencia no fuera tan agradable porque nuestras expectativas era de estar mucho tiempo en el jacuzzi pero a las 5 ya hacía mucho frío y como no estaba muy caliente tuvimos que salirnos, sin embargo el anfitrión nos ofreció quedarnos más tiempo del día siguiente para aprovecharlo!

El lugar muy bonito pero: Las amenidades que ofrecen no funcionan, el Jacuzzi no funcionaba, el agua no estaba caliente. El sauna estaba fuera de servicio no se podía utilizar. El agua de la regadera primero salía muy caliente y después fría. El espejo del baño estaba a la altura del pecho, tenias que agacharte para verte el rostro. La habitación no cuenta con un bote de basura, solo el del baño pero es muy pequeño.

El lugar está muy bonito, coincidía con las fotos, tuvimos un problema con el internet que no quiso agarrar en toda la duración de la estancia, tuvimos un inconveniente con la puerta que no servía una chapa. muy bonito lugar, cabañas muy cómodas , ideal para relajarte y descansar. cuando llegamos todo empezó mal, la ubicación nos llevó a otro lugar, una vez que pudimos llegar, nuestra cabaña ya estaba ocupada y obvio ya no creíamos que fuera a ser una estancia placentera, pero una vez instalados todo fue mejorando, empezaron a ayudarnos en nuestras peticiones, desde una mesa en el balcón, prendernos una Fogata en la noche y poner en función el jacuzzi, al final nos quedamos con un gran sabor de boca.

Falta que arreglen las cerraduras, la del baño no servia y la principal solo una cerraba por dentro, el cuarto no le dieron limpieza antes de nuestra llegada, se veía que llevaba bastante tiempo sin usarse y ya estaban algunas cosas sucias por dentro. La taza del baño estaba sucia y el agua de la regadera rápido se le acababa el agua caliente. El jacuzzi del lugar no servia, solo funcionaba como alberca.

worst airbnb. We get there and had to go find the woman keeping the grounds in the back of the property. She put us in room 6 which had no running water - the toilet wouldnt flush, the bathroom mirror was shattered, the towels smelled like mold, and the ac was reading 88 in the room. I asked her for a different room due to the water and she put us in room 4. Room 4 temp was in the 90’s, sink was spitting out yellow water with dirt. Towels still moldy. The toilet also barely worked. The shower barely had pressure and would go from slow drips to then random geysers of water. Which also ruined my new make up and emergency medications that i had sitting next to the sink. The jacuzzi was cold. The sauna was broken so we couldnt use it. Management they said we missunderstood the listing and they had accurately described the hotel. The grounds were unkempt with plastic trash everywhere. I sent videos and photos of everything to airbnb who cancelled my stay and gave me 30% off night one.

It was good experience and all but the photos didn’t match what it was described and the room didn’t have an actual air conditioning, and ad a portable A/C and it was very noisy. So overall, I wouldn’t pay more than $80 a night. For this place.

Staff had no clue what was going on. No exhaust fan in bathroom so the sewer smell was very strong. In able to use the amenities, we came back around 8PM and everything was dark. No staff seen on the property to help with any issues. Run down place with overgrown landscape. Extremely slow response by the host, by the time they respond to an issue we had an hour had passed by. Would definitely not stay here again this was the first bad experience I’ve had at Valle de Guadalupe.

Sin lugar a duda un lugar para desconectarse de la rutina diaria, con mucha privacidad y tranquilidad, tienes cercas vinícolas de importancia, que valen la pena conocer y probar el buen vino. This place is one good house manager from being excellent. The pictures are exactly what you get if the property was abandoned for a month. I really liked the property and I would come back but there is some aspects that you can past. 1. The lock of my room didn’t work at all, I stay for two nights and I had to leave my door open, had I not being a fan of Valle de Guadalupe I would’ve just freaked out until it was fix. I did mention it to the person behind the phone but got no answer. 2. The whole property feels like it needs an actual handyman, there is holes everywhere or mishaps and change of plans in the room (2) all around. The garden needs a lot of TLC, I get it … water but a lot of the vegetation is dry and makes the property feel gloomy and lastly the pool area has seen better days, not a lot of care on the area that is the major focus point of the property. 3. The amenities are ok but being so remote from the nearest convenience store it just needs a little extra.

desde la llegada hasta la salida muy bien, habitación privada y muy tranquila la zona, era lo que buscábamos para ese fin de semana, las fotos coinciden con la realidad, solo creo que estab un poco descuidadas las áreas verdes y área de alberca, un poco sucio , pero nada que no se pueda solucionar.

El lugar no es malo, es hasta cierto punto bonito pero si está muy retirado de la carretera, no hay servicio de transporte tan cercano, sino tienes coche es difícil trasladarse, la regadera no funcionaba solo salía agua hirviendo, realmente solo lo utilizamos para descansar, la cama es cómoda pero el espacio es muy reducido, de noche hay muy poca iluminación

If you want peace and quiet this is the spot for you. The sleeping quarters leave a lot to be desired for the price paid. We got to experience two rooms and both had a terrible sewage smell that never went away. AC in the July heat is a big miss. First room had a small swamp cooler going with the windows open, second room’s AC was on its last bit of life. The beds and pillows are rock hard and uncomfortable. The grounds and surrounding area is really nice but for the price paid here we could have stayed somewhere more hospitable. We will not return to this location unfortunately

The area is extremely beautiful, if you want peace then that’s what you will get. No complains with communication, that went well. I just didn’t like that the stair way to my room (1) was really dirty and out patio as well, if you have a table why not have some chairs to enjoy the view. They’re were some spider webs on our ceiling and our shower only dispensed hot water. The pool was clean and loved it, the only recommendation I would give is to put ur pool towels on a table and not on the floor. Doesn’t look nice and there’s tons of critters. But other than that I loved the peace I felt.

el lugar muy bonito! alberca excelente ya que el clima no ayudo, pero estaba rica el agua templada. la habitación bien, cama cómoda, pero nunca vimos al anfitrión, no nos entregaron llaves de la habitación, por lo que teníamos que dejar la puerta sin seguro cuando salíamos, faltaron toallas extras para usar en la alberca, ya que solo había 2 para bañar, al salir, di aviso mediante la App que dejaríamos la habitación e igual nunca salieron a recibirnos la entrega, tampoco nos dieron clave de Wiifi, así q estuvimos un poco incomunicados por la poca señal, en nuestro balcón no había sillas, en los demás si, tampoco nos dieron acceso al sauna, eramos los únicos huéspedes y nos dieron la habitación más lejana a la alberca así que tuvimos que caminar algo, podían ofrecernos el cambio más cerca a la alberca. pero bueno, al final, disfrutamos la estadía. y vale la pena el lugar

Disfrutamos mucho nuestros días en Valle de Guadalupe. El lugar es cómodo, limpio, con una vista espectacular. Siempre atentos a lo que necesitábamos. El Jacuzzi en la noche después de un día recorriendo viñedos vale la pena. Gracias por todo, estamos invitados a regresar.

The location was perfect, very peaceful and beautiful. Staff (Maria) was great. The pool and hot tub were clean. Sauna room was perfect for after a day of being out on the road. Our room was very clean with the fridge stocked with beverages (loved). The bathroom could use little brighter light but overall the bathroom was nice and clean, and had toiletries needed, Even though i alway take what i need. I would defiantly recommend this location and i would come back. Thank you

The room was just the right size and provided the basic amenities needed for a nice relaxing weekend getaway. We would definitely consider returning!

Amazing place to relax after a day in the vineyards. The unit was exactly what we needed and the pool was perfectly heated for the cool nights. The host was responsive as we arrived and helped ensure we found our way to the property. Would definitely come back as it was nestled in between two wonderful wineries (Emevé and Descanto).
